Arma – tough protection for external residential pipe work
With external pipework becoming an increasingly popular target for vandalism and theft, Arma metal pipe protection not only acts as a barrier and a deterrent but also hides potentially vulnerable pipes and improves the exterior finish of properties.
Arma was developed for use in refurbishment and redevelopment projects, where existing gas, water and balcony flues, as well as air conditioning pipework, is at risk from tampering, vandalism or ‘scrap metal value’ theft, particularly where the pipes run close to the ground and are in easy reach.
All Arma pipe protection is manufactured from strong lightweight and corrosion-resistant pre-formed aluminium, which is readily secured to external walls using heavy duty angle brackets and security screw fixings. The system also incorporates dedicated accessories, including corners, joints and end caps.
A range of finish colours is available as well as a choice of material thicknesses and Arma can be specified in pre-cut lengths of up to 2.4 metres. Arma can be manufactured in a variety of sizes to suit individual requirements.
