With external pipework often a target for vandalism and theft, Arma metal pipe boxing not only acts as a barrier and a deterrent but also hides potentially vulnerable pipes while improving the exterior finish of properties.
Arma was developed for use in refurbishment and redevelopment projects, where existing gas, water and balcony flues, as well as air conditioning or heat pump pipework, could be at risk from tampering, vandalism or ‘scrap metal value’ theft. This is a particular concern, where the pipes are located close to the ground and are in easy reach.
All Arma metal pipe boxing is manufactured from strong lightweight and corrosion-resistant pre-formed aluminium, which is readily secured to external walls using heavy angle brackets and security screw fixings. The system also incorporates dedicated accessories, including corners, joints and end caps.
Arma can be manufactured in a variety of sizes to suit individual requirements and a range of finish colours is available, as well as a choice of material thicknesses. It can also be specified in pre-cut lengths of up to 2.4 metres.
