Healthy solution for clinic’s waste and heating issues

Wastewater and heating pipework at the new Bracknell Health Clinic in Berkshire have been safely and stylishly concealed in versatile, easy-to-fit pipe boxing supplied by Encasement.

The health clinic offers advanced radiotherapy facilities for treating cancer and allows renal patients to receive their regular dialysis without having to travel too far from their home or workplace.

Versa 8 pipe boxing has been installed in vertical and low-level horizontal applications on two floors of the £25 million complex, opened by the Countess of Wessex and managed by the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.

Versa 8 pipe boxing is the perfect solution to conceal unsightly pipework because it provides a robust, attractive finish and is quick and easy to install. It can be fitted in approximately half the time required for more traditional, site-made alternatives – a key factor in reducing time and on-site costs.

Encasement Managing Director Martin Taylor said: “Our pipe boxing product is intended for use in new build, refurbishment and redevelopment projects where heating pipework, mains water and waste pipes are to be concealed in an unobtrusive manner, whilst allowing access for future maintenance and importantly be easy to clean.”
