Encasement joins Constructionline
Encasement is now part of Constructionline, the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service, which helps provide efficiency savings to public and private sector buyers and the construction industry as a whole.
Constructionline uses a standardised prequalification questionnaire, developed by BSI, to reduce duplication within the construction industry to provide key supplier information to buyers of construction services.
For suppliers, such as Encasement, this allows them to avoid the need to repeatedly duplicate standard company information for every construction tender while giving access to more than 8,000 procurement professionals from around 2,800 buying organisations using the Constructionline database.
Encasement’s Managing Director, Martin Taylor, explained: “Being part of Constructionline’s core information database, which provides key company information to a range of prospective customers could be highly beneficial to us. Also, we don’t need to complete the same information on every tender we submit, as this information is already available to buyers, which helps streamline procurement procedures and improving the supply chain management processes for us and those buying construction services and products.”
